Membership Registration

SFUP (Shikana Frontliners for Unity Party) will collect and process the personal data you enter below for the purpose of registering and administering your party membership, maintaining the party register, and submitting membership records to the Registrar of Political Parties as required by law. We process this data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2019 and the Political Parties Act, 2011.

The data we collect is:

  • Your name, sex, date of birth and identification number
  • Your phone number and email address, so we can contact you
  • Where you live or vote — county, constituency and ward (or country, if you are in the diaspora)
  • Whether you belong to a special interest group (woman, youth, person with disability)

Your data is kept only for as long as you remain a member.
If you resign, your record is retained for seven (7) days for Party Officials to review, then permanently deleted. You may withdraw consent, or ask to see or correct your data, at any time by writing to info@shikana.or.ke.
